Yoke Project

Started the yoke project. It will have dual control for pitch and roll. The whole base frame will be under the floor. The main mechanism is based on cam and roller idea - so we need only one set of springs to control the toll movements, while there is a force "feel ".

This is a close-up on the mechanism. The roller sits in the cam's lower point and serves as "neutral" position. Rotating the cam via the chain and sprocket hooked to the yokes, will trutn the cam which will need some force to get out of the neutral position, and the further you go - the more force you need. When released - the sprigs will force the cam to bring the yoke to the neutral position.

Throttle Quadrant done

Finished the TQ - it has movable throttles, operational Cut-Offs, Thrust reversers, Flaps, Speed brakes, Parking brake, A/T disconnect, movable trim wheels etc.

Apart from the trim wheels and the plastic handles - we did all of it ourselves from scratch.

Enjoy

My Flight Simulators

Hello to you all.

My name is Isaac Neuman, I am a commercial pilot with IFR rating. Since I quit real flying, I found the amazing world of flight simulation.

I logged thousands of flying time on my desktop simulator - and felt I need to go forward with this. Luckily, the technology was already set, so with my buddy Phil we have built a Cessna like flight simulator, and currently building a full scale 737-800 cockpit.

We wish to share with you the joy, and hope you will enjoy this too.
